Launch of Connected Scotland · 6 July 07

At the launch of Connected Scotland, Brian West, Development Officer for Healthy Gay Scotland says, “We asked gay and bisexual men living with HIV what they wanted and this website is exactly what we have developed for them. We promote early and regular HIV testing for gay and bisexual men and so it is important that we have the resources to give to those who do test HIV positive. It has been an honour to work with partner agencies and guys living with HIV to develop the first website in the world for gay and bisexual men living with HIV, and for their friends and their partners. The stigma and discrimination associated with HIV make it stand out as an illness. Connected Scotland should help gay and bisexual men living with HIV connect with each other to counter this.”
